Cloverfield NS is a three-teacher Catholic primary school in the parish of Kilteely-Dromkeen in east Limerick. Both boys and girls receive their primary education in a friendly secure environment where they are taught all subjects of the Primary School Curriculum.There are currently 51 pupils enrolled in the eight classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. Those in the Infant Room are taught by Principal Mrs Noreen O'Dea, those from 1st to 3rd classes are taught by Ms Bríd O'Meara,and the Senior Room pupils are taught by Ms. Louise Davis.
Cloverfield N.S. celebrated its centenary during the 2009/ 2010 school year. A celebration calendar was printed featuring a variety of photographs which provide a snapshot of the life and activities of the school during the last 100 years. Copies of the calendar are still available from the school. On June 6th, 2010 both past and present pupils, staff, parents, BOM members and parishioners and friends of the school gathered to celebrate the centenary. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Conor Hayes, P.P. Past and present pupils,staff and BOM members participated in the Mass which was followed by the unveiling of a commemorative wall plaque by the three 6th class pupils, Caoimhe O'Dea, Méabh McCarthy & Sarah Miller; and the planting of a tree by the oldest past pupil present, Mrs. Nellie McGrath (née Gleeson) and the youngest pupil at the time, Ciara O'Dwyer. A Centenary celebration book was launched which includes a collection of written memories of many associated with the school and its history as well as many photographs. Copies of this booklet are also still available.
